Pros
The people you correspond with seem nice enough.
Cons
There isn't a whole lot of communication. You get one article to work on and have seven or so days to return it, which is completely reasonable, given that it could be about 85 pages long plus appendices/tables. There is no way of knowing when you will get another assignment. Not only that but it takes about a month to get paid. And that's the worst part--the pay. When you break it down, you're getting paid about minimum wage to edit scholarly research articles. You can make more money pet sitting or waiting on tables.
