Pros
- Smart, nice, hard-working colleagues. Honestly, the best all-around people I've worked with in my career. They generally hire well. - Plenty of opportunities to learn and grow, especially as someone early in their career. - Interesting, engaging projects and customers, especially if you're a marketing/data nerd. - Company has done very well over the past few years. This has created growth opportunities for good people. It's also been exciting to be a part of that growth.
Cons
- You. Will. Work. Deadlines and turnaround times can be demanding. It has been overwhelming for me at times. However, this isn't out-of-the-ordinary for consulting. - Increasing pressure to minimize headcount growth, especially in the department I'm in. - Experience can be poor if you end up on bad project or team or report to bad manager. - Training materials are not great, though leadership seems to finally be taking proper steps to address this.
