No pros. Stepping stone pure and simple

Cons

This company uses nepotism as a key tool for hiring new employees, if you do not have the appropriate last name then you are nothing to them. No organization in any aspect of this company and unqualified staff in every position imaginable. All aboard the Titanic!

Pros

Small business. Any extra effort will be noticed immediately. Unfortunately that isn't exactly positive.

Cons

The downside is the company truly doesn't value an opinion that cuts against their preconceived notions. There are people in charge of departments that are ill suited to wash dishes much less run a warehouse and distribution center (should you choose to ignore the warning found here, you will recognize this person immediately if you work in the warehouse like foghorn leghorn incarnate). They act friendly, pretend to listen, and have a remarkable ability to evade responsibility for their stunning ineptitude. At the end of the day, if you're OK watching your back every moment of every day and you're OK allowing your work make your witless boss look better than he could ever hope to on his own, then you will find your home at Anchor Paper. If you find something wrong with this, consider applying elsewhere. Your complaints or your attempts to draw upper management's attention to the systemic issues within the company will be dismissed, redirected, or will be laid at your feet as being indicative of your shortcomings. Upper management knows exactly where the problems are but are reluctant or simply frightened to have the altercations that must take place. A horrifically toxic environment exists for those that want to reveal the systemic issues. Don't fool yourself by believing upper management cares about your concerns. Don't fool yourself and believe you have anyone in charge on your side. Be prepared to play the game every day you are there. Management doesn't care about your opinion, aging workforce, some frontline management are clueless
