Pros

If you're reading this, you're probably fresh out of college, and you just interviewed at Andrew Residence. You're a little put off by the iffy neighborhood, and you're scared of people with mental illness. Take the job. This is a rare opportunity to work in health care where almost everyone is committed to the patients, and not profit. It's a great way to learn more about mental health, and if you aren't all gushy over the residents in a few months, well, it's not for you. Good, supportive managers, the ability to be creative and to have real responsibilities. If you're at all thinking about nursing school, doing a year or two here will put you far beyond the majority of your classmates. If you're thinking about social work, or any kind of career in mental health, this is a fantastic place to start. Also, they're able and willing to be more flexible than some other workplaces. That is important. Oh, and free lunch

Cons

Well.... the pay's not the greatest, but as said, you'll enjoy your time here and learn A. LOT.

Pros

Great pay after getting CNA and TMA. Company pays for these classes. Free meals and 1 hour lunch break. Part time isn’t a lot of workload til you’re full time. Can pickup shift if you’re part time.

Cons

Limited parking and neighborhood is kinda sketchy. Can take a long time to acclimate to work environment if you’re not starting with prior certifications and aren’t full time. Earn your experience here than go on to bigger and better things.
