Pros

Great benefits, free food, good equity

Cons

Underpay when compared to a lot of other defense companies. Little to no room for upward mobility. The few lead tech positions available have been filled by relatively inexperienced employees with with less than a year of experience, so very poor managerial choices in regard to who gets promoted. On that note, tech leadership positions are just appointments, they don't hold interviews for anyone else who may be qualified or interested. Management doesn't really seem to have much interest in developing their employees professionally. Annual review structure is disorganized at best and raises are very small (less than 2% raise each year even with a stellar review). Have to work 3-4 hours of overtime every day to even make a decent living to survive. All funding is essentially saved for the army of software engineers they hire and fire every quarter. On a weekly basis I have one or another newly graduated engineer attempt to tell me how to do my job (with over a decade of tech experience). The last several years have been nothing short of an extremely frustrating experience and huge letdown from what was promised when I quit my previous job and came here. Had I known what I do now, I would've never wasted my time applying.

Pros

Competitive pay and benefits. Extremely talented workforce. Exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies. Fast-paced environment with meaningful work. Opportunities to learn like you wouldn't believe.

Cons

Heavy reliance on tribal knowledge in some areas. Documentation and standardized work instructions can be limited. Some processes depend on experienced employees rather than formal SOPs and travelers. Learning curve can be steep for new hires.

Pros

Great pay for the most part, and the engineers are awesome.

Cons

When something is too good to be true, it’s too good to be true for a reason. I would not accept this job on contract unless you are unemployed, don’t consider it if you are employed. The company is growing and having leadership level changes in the TA realm and boy you can tell. Your job is NOT safe on contract and is not a guarantee to go even 6 months. Everyone is extremely lax and chill on the interviews and the pay is great isn’t it?? Well that’s alll a facade, no matter if you’re doing well or not.
