Pros
Good people, good work environment, and a lot of autonomy. The variety and type of work was interesting and challenging. The company makes a legitimate attempt to make working there enjoyable, with a well stocked kitchen and a variety of company activities. Pay and benefits are top notch.
Cons
Despite the outward appearance of caring about employees, the company is myopically focused on the bottom line. In the last 2 years the company has cut loose a large number of poeple, including people who had been there over 5 years. As long as they can keep you billing on client jobs, you are ok, but if there is any down time between clients, make sure your resume is up to date. Despite being a tech-focused company, they skimp on spending for quality hardware. Employee computers are several years old refurbs, office furniture is old and tattered, and the communal workspace is sparse and cold. The company has "restructured" and "refocused" their business model 3 times in the last 3 years, and still can't seem to figure out who they want to be and what they want to focus on.
