      Pros

      Good wage, opportunities to move departments and to move up. A lot is expected of you and generally high work hrs in its underground mines. Open cut is more relaxed

      Cons

      Graduates are usually thrown into straight engineering or coordinator roles. Not much time to actually do the graduate program. This puts on a lot more stress however you learn a lot quicker
