Worst company I’ve ever worked for. - Supervisor Antic London Employee Review

Horribly gaslit by head office when I brought up very valid points about terrible new manager. Worked for this company for many years and was incredibly mistreated. Person from head office was emotionally abusive when I went to complain to her about someone they had hired. It was very clear that it was in her best interest to be right, and the rest of the staff to be wrong, as the past two managers she had hired had been awful people and shows that she isn’t capable of hiring good managers. She literally said to me that “as a company we don’t care about bar/floor staff as we can train anyone to pour a pint”. The company paid all of the staff (minus managers) in cash for years, often there wasn’t enough cash in the tills to be paid. Our pub won pub of the year and we were promised a large cash price which was never received. I was sexually harassed by the head chef and complained to head office. They agreed with me on every level that what I, and other members of staff had suffered was indeed sexual harassment, but refused to get rid of the head chef as “it was Christmas and we can’t afford to find someone to takeover at such a busy time of year” - I was forced to work with him for months after until they offered to move him to another site. I’ve worked in hospitality management for years with several different companies, this company is horrific.
