Pros

They provide you food when they have people over that they're trying to impress

Cons

1. The leaders are a bunch of liars. Especially the CEO. He makes these wild claims of being a righteous organization, but continues to lie to the devs/staff and to the contracts that Appddiction Studio is under. 2. Promises of pay increase and bonuses. They make empty promises where they mislead about potentially good bonuses and to only be shafted with a joke of a bonus. The CEOs argument about this would be "hey! at least we're giving you one! not a lot of places would do this!" and that would be fine and all, but the way that he leads up to us getting the bonuses months before so that we can be more productive and when we do our work, it doesn't even matter. Will also promise things like pay raises and will continue to promise and never give. It's just sad. 3.The devs are questionable. There are a only a few devs that actually know what they are doing. Most of them are lazy and don't care about the job. they hire new out of a bootcamp people and get them going. Which is good, but the work is so sloppy and that there aren't any real senior/lead devs to guide these brand new/just graduated devs. There has been talk about getting much better devs to support this problem, but it never happened. 4. Going back to people not caring about the job is absolutely real. They genuinely trash talk behind the CEOs back and the whole organization. It's actually hilarious how out of touch the higher ups are with the devs and even more so how the devs just don't bother to try and become better at their craft. 5. They also promote this horrible bootcamp that is instructed by actual junior devs( who really do not know much about code at all or even being an instructor really ) for a boat load of money. I mean, really, it is almost $30k for this really badly designed, poorly instructed, horribly placed bootcamp. I actually cannot believe that there were people that signed up for this and who got screwed over by the lack of education that they paid for. 6. There are very much unprofessional convos/topics/sayings in the work place. The CEO will not be shy in how he feels about a woman or how he feels about certain things that can be considered NSFW. You would think that someone else in the higher ups or even HR would speak out about this, but EVERYONE is scared of the CEO. It is actually not a joke. A real HR with an unbiased experience from the person, should be able to vocalize and even reprimand the CEO imo, but nope. It just goes by and basically all that is said is "that's just how he talks. and if you don't like it, then leave". There are so many more things that can be said about the work and the organization as a total. I advise to look elsewhere for a junior position or even in general. You will be underpaid, and you will begin to hate what you do and have the bitter and jaded experience about how organizations work.

Pros

I was hired by Appddiction to work at Metro Public Health Department in Nashville, TN. They always paid me on time and had clear communication.

Cons

I would have liked more opportunities to ask for pay increases.

Pros

Contracted team was awesome, Everyone in the office was nice enough

Cons

Felt like walking on eggshells, especially around the CEO/higher ups. Being even 1 minute late was a risk to your employment and most everyone feared being immediately terminated if the CEO was in a bad mood. Pay was laughable but at least you got experience for as long as you could survive
