Pros
Apple Gold really does try to provide competitive compensation as well as a work/life balance. Area Directors and Regional VP's are very likeable and have all been through the fire before as store managers. There's room for advancement as long as you take the initiative to improve your knowledge of FOH and BOH operations. Prefer to promote from within. As long as you're developing your staff you can and your staff can advance (not to mention it makes your job a lot easier.) Corporate office will provide you with tons of feedback and training tools so you will constantly know where you stand against your peers.
Cons
They TRY to work with you to provide a good work/life balance. It just doesn't always work that way. Turnover is inevitable in this industry which makes it hard to establish consistent management teams. Late night hours for hourly employees and managers isn't for everyone. Menu is always changing. Constantly have to re-train staff.
