Pros
A decent pay for young people needing extra money and it’s a standard first job. There’s a 50% off employee discount for food. The job is entry level so it’s simple enough, although it gets very busy some nights. You learn more as time passes. Some of the managers are helpful.
Cons
The environment, like many restaurants can be toxic depending on who’s working. There’s often a lack of communication and being ignored. This is especially if you’re kind and very quiet, just doing your job and minding your business. They don’t seem to appreciate that. I’ve found that the servers seem to be more rude to the hosts, for no good reason, which makes the simple job become more difficult. It makes me want to quit because of how some people have made me feel. Even if you do your best, there is favoritism.
