Pros

Hybrid working. Leeds city centre.

Cons

Extremely hierarchical. Managers do not lead by example. Conflicting training makes it very hard to learn the job. Very stuck in there ways. Unwilling to change/adapt to new practices. Was told how all the problems I brought up were also brought up by the last employee that left, yet they still didn’t do anything to change. Emails will be sent behind your back about your work, rather than addressing the situation professionally. Overall it was an extremely toxic workplace for me which really took its toll on my mental health, my family and friends was pleading with me to leave and now that I have I’m so happy again.

Pros

Wonderful people, work life balance, role is varied and enjoyable, offices are well located and modern, supportive Employee Assistance Programme, CSR, ED&I and wellbeing teams.

Cons

The work is fast-paced and can be challenging at times, so it's best suited to someone who enjoys being busy.

Pros

There are some good social events, and the firm does offer genuine support for personal development and training. Individuals within teams can be supportive, and there is clear potential for the workplace to be a positive environment if changes were embraced more fully.

Cons

Despite stating that new ideas are welcome, the organisation relies heavily on outdated and inefficient systems and shows strong resistance to meaningful change. Micromanagement is common, communication is largely top-down, and there is a noticeable lack of trust in staff. Combined with constant pressure and unrealistic expectations, this creates a stressful atmosphere that can feel toxic at times and is difficult to sustain in the long term. Overall, the culture feels stuck in the past and not well aligned with modern ways of working.
