AIS taps the ambitions of its employees. Besides owning shars in the company (following all the applicable laws), AIS has managed to build in R&D -- working to be great in the moment while preparing for the future is hard. Employees can choose to be part of R&D and/or focus on the moment -- their choice; AIS provides paths for both options. Also, the execs keep the BS to a minimum. They walk the talk and, from what I can tell, hold themselves to the same accountabilities as everyone else.
