Pros

Startup company and you can learn from other team members (if new to the industry). Very friendly people (apart from one or two). Salary and the travel allowance gets credited on time, last working day of the month (mostly). Guess there isn't much to speak about in this section.

Cons

The location - Banshankari (will never fell like you are working in a US based company) Facilities - You get one 5 rupee biscuit packet and hot water (make your own tea or coffee). No transportation provided. Management - Well they never take any feedback nor give any. No idea about running an establishment. They trust certain people and they will just go with whatever suggestion been given by them. All the confirmation will be given verbally and they are very reluctant in sending out an email and confirm the same. Work pressure - The manger sits here will ask you to achieve targets without even giving you a proper requirement. Incentive - Even though the salary comes on time, they are very reluctant in giving out the incentives. Policies - They do not have a fixed policy, it will keep changing according their convenience. Clients - If you walk in for an interview ask the question who all the clients Apptad works with, they will say Mercedes, PFG, CEB, College Board, TeraData. None are directly working with Apptad. Its all through vendors (apart from PFG - which is no longer there)

Pros

Apptad has strong partnerships with leading data platforms (Informatica, Databricks, Snowflake). The team I spoke with seemed knowledgeable about the MDM space. The company positions itself well in data and digital consulting.

Cons

The interview process lacked transparency. Despite being told to move quickly to submit materials, I received no follow-up or feedback after the interview. Communication was inconsistent — I had to chase for updates and still received no clear response on status. It appeared that the process may have been more about checking boxes than a genuine evaluation, which is frustrating and wastes a candidate’s time.
