Pros
Strong exposure to real business data sets that improved my Excel modeling and reporting skills Good team collaboration; colleagues were always willing to share techniques and shortcuts. Opportunities to work independently and own projects, which built my confidence. Management invested in training resources (Excel masterclasses, online courses, occasional workshops).
Cons
Workload was sometimes uneven, with tight deadlines leading to long hours. Limited exposure to tools beyond Excel — would have been great to get structured training in SQL, Power BI, or Python. Reporting expectations could change suddenly, which created last-minute pressure. Promotions felt a bit slow unless you actively pushed for visibility.
