Pros
Friendly staff, civilised working environment, plenty of opportunities for career development within the company, well structured, regular appraisal system; pension scheme; additional benefits such as bikes to work scheme, Best Doctor and charity fund-matching. Positive overall atmosphere.
Cons
No regular salary review; lots of filling in of forms without very much evidence of these being of any material benefit to anyone; moving goalposts in terms of management expectations with a good deal of work going into reports which are then superseded by something completely different. Staff training was often talked about but never actually materialised in my experience.
