The office is not very lively now. It would be great if there were more things going on to draw people into the office more often.

Archetype Solutions Group was a great consulting/venture firm to work at for my first official internship. With a tight-knit team growing faster each year, you can feel the passion that everyone puts into their work and easily make bonds with colleagues. One thing that stuck with me since my first week was how everyone I met emphasized asking questions; each person at Archetype is extremely willing to answer any questions you have and is glad to answer them. As for my work, I was satisfied with the projects I was assigned to and I've learned a lot about the general software development process from them. I've also gained experience in the non-technical side of things including professional development, networking, and knowledge about consulting/venture funds. Overall, ASG is a great place to work if you want that smaller-company vibe with smart, passionate people.

If you're looking for a job where you just do your work and head home for the day, then ASG may not be fitting for you. ASG has a strong cooperative environment where everyone encourages each other to help others out.
