Pros

Excellent pay Strong benefits package with 6% full-match 401(k) plus 3% additional regardless of employee contributions, good and affordable health insurance, employee discounts with various car manufacturers, cellular providers, etc.

Cons

Difficult schedule, rotating 12-hour shifts for most production jobs. Mandatory overtime up to 66 hours per week. The environment is hazardous, and if an employee does not follow the guidelines set in place to keep them safe, a serious injury or fatality is likely to occur. This being said, Lancaster Works has not had a workplace fatality in over 20 years from time of writing this review. Working conditions are unpleasant and require eye and ear protection to be worn at all times. For most departments, it's hot in the summer, and can be cold in the winter.
