Pros
Lots of good experience. Opportunities to work both 911 and critical care transport
Lots of overtime if you want it
Cons
Management is disorganized, and frequently employee issues are left unresolved. Favoritism is rampant. Work load can be exhausing. 24 hour shifts doing long distance transports. Asking for crew rest is frowned upon. Within the last few years, hours were cut to save the company money. Pay raises were given which were supposed to make up for the lost hours, but fell way short of the mark (I took a $10,000/yr pay cut). The company is doing much better financially, but refuses to return to previous schedule so folks can quit their second jobs that became necessary with hours were cut.
