The company promotes a "family" atmosphere but at the end of the day it's the same as any big company. They will layoff employees without any notice and tier job titles to hold pay scale down and create a longer path for career growth. First round of layoffs last year happened the weekend before thanksgiving. After another recent round some employees even began quitting. Senior members of HR staff are cold and impersonable which is the exact opposite what you would expect out of someone in HR.
They also claim that there is flexibility if you want to move to a different department and try a new role. This is completely false as I've seen people get fired for expressing any kind of interest in switching roles. It seemed the supervisor took it personally.
The products are also generally weak and unoriginal compared to the rest of the casual games market. They have hedged a large part of their business model on Windows 8 but the company may run out of money before Windows 8 gains any kind of real traction.
Despite all this, it is a good place to gain some experience early in your career but don't buy into the "family" mentality and don't expect too much growth in the long run.
