Pros

Wonderful artists on the directory, strong work-life balance, a solid gallery team, and a lot of colleagues who are genuine in their commitments to anti-oppression. I learned a lot working here, especially when it was still under Winnie Tam's direction (interim ED position).

Cons

Significant staff transition in 2022 led the organization to quite an unstable place. It's unfortunate, because I think for a non-profit it used to have solid systems in place and was quite influential in the BC arts landscape. But I think its impact has diminished quite significantly and rapidly due to an entirely new executive team that lacks focus and intention to ground the work.

Pros

A non-profit that is actually organized! Great mission, people really care about the constituents and other colleagues.

Cons

Typical non-profit life. Success dependent on board and funding they can raise.
