You are not important. The moment something happens the management team are the first ones to blame the support workers. Their only concern is making profits and maintaining them. If that means making budget cuts and ignoring requirements in the Enterprise Bargaining they will. You will not be supported. Poor behaviours from clients is excused and their “therapeutic” approach to managing clients does not protect workers and does not set clients up for the future. Safety concerns do not get implemented until something dangerous happens and they are forced to deal with it. Aruma will do everything they can to not pay you what is owed and to only pay you the bare minimum. The team I work with is fantastic. The management team that I am under are so out of touch and completely incapable of relating to the people under them. If you’re thinking of working with Aruma - don’t do it.
Management do not care about you
Unrealistic KPIs
Poor communication and constant gaslighting of information
Expectations to complete work on non work days or after hours
The building is falling apart
Risk of burn out is high
There are clear favorites within the team who the rules do not apply to
