Pros
- you get to build your portfolio working with fairly well-known brands - easy to make friends at work because we all need to support each other from the stress load
Cons
1. high turnover rate, no one ever stayed for a year. He terminates people a lot. 2. doesn't provide you with a work computer/laptop. u have to do your work on your own personal device. 3. gives you cracked adobe software instead of investing in a proper one. This sometimes give issues to your own device like lagging/crashing. can you believe it, a creative agency with no proper software and devices to edit on???? 4. he will give u a 4-month internship before u get the full-time job. as an intern he doesn't even teach u, he would only point out your mistakes and patronise u. PLUS your job scope + the number of hours you put into this job is not even worth the full-time pay. 5. 99% of the time you end up working for 10-12 hours a day. With no OT pay. 6. The company literally had <4 people. Imagine how hard we worked for so many projects. We should not be working this hard for someone who doesn't invest in his employees. We're literally working for him to have a luxurious lifestyle. 7. as a "creative" you're expected to do everything from pre-production to post-production. if the workload was manageable, I can close one eye but we're always juggling in between jobs so it's very exhausting to do different roles on a daily basis.
