Pros
Good Benefits (401k - vacation ); telecommuniting opportunites for limited positions. *I fortunately, have been able to avoid layoffs, etc & remain employed with the company for the past 10+ years.
Cons
-Extreme (may I stress the word "extreme") lack of opportunities to advance - in particular, at the non-corporate sites. Nevermind, there are no opportunities to advance. -Promotional / management opportunities are rarely ever posted, they are "given" / "handed-out". -Overall feeling / atmosphere of distrust, just feels "icky". *I agree, not a technical term per se, but the first word that comes to mind. -Frequent lay-offs -Lack of employee engagement opportunities
