Pros

Was initially a good place to earn decent commission, teaches you all the tricks of the recruitment trade.

Cons

Toxic working environment where presentiment is valued at the forefront. Working on the contract team I was expected to be at my desk by 7:30 am and leave no earlier than 7pm, management are bullies who relish in embarrassing people that don't follow the group-think., People who's 'face fit' and would go on nights out with middle management did well.

Pros

Aston Carter provided excellent opportunities for professional growth, career progression, and leadership development. I had the opportunity to work with some of the largest healthcare and insurance clients in the country, build strong client relationships, and lead high-performing teams. The company offers strong training, a collaborative culture, and a performance-driven environment where hard work is recognized and rewarded. I was fortunate to work alongside talented colleagues and supportive leaders who helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Cons

Like many staffing and recruiting organizations, the environment can be fast-paced and demanding, with a strong focus on metrics and performance goals. Work-life balance can be challenging during peak periods, and processes can sometimes vary between offices or leadership teams. However, these challenges also create opportunities for growth and development.
