      This company prefers internal hires/promotions over external hiring, especially for below VP level job roles.

      Cons

      It takes a long time for HR to promote the internal employees even if they are going above and beyond their job roles. Also if you were to look at another internal job posting and want to move into that new role, you would need you direct line managers approval to move into it.

Despite receiving interviews from peer organizations, I did not receive a single recruiter interaction. I fully understand the competitiveness of hiring, but such a complete lack of engagement raises questions about potential overreliance on AI screening or unintended bias.
