Pros

Fast pace work, never boring, good vacation time.

Cons

This company needs to rethink it's priorities and quick. The expectations are unreal. I don't understand how we are expected to maintain a store, follow through with never ending department resets and still take care of customers. We never have more than 5 employees in the building at a time. We are given the same amount of hours each week. It doesn't matter if our sales are increasing or not. It is completely unrealistic. I don't even want to get into the freight situation. We get slammed with back to back trucks filled with the same product. Our backroom gets backed up because there is no room on the sales floor for any of the items that are coming in. On top of that, we get about a 1 day notification if we are getting a truck. How are we supposed to plan effectively? We can't keep good help because there aren't enough hours to go around. This also causes a huge issue with hiring! I have seen countless customers walk out of the store because the line at the register is so long and because there is no one in the store to assist them. Rethink your business model or you will lose all of your good staff and your company will fail! Every single member of my management team, including myself, is actively seeking new employment. And on top of everything else, 90% of our products are overpriced cheap garbage. I experience daily embarrassment when I go to help a customer load a stand or a cabinet and door falls off or the items are covered in giant scrapes and scratches, or the drawer won't open.

Pros

Fine enough coworkers to be around

Cons

Horrendous corporate staff. Overly aggressive marketing for customers that clearly don't seem to actually care to buy anything. 90 day no question return policy means customers buy things constantly and return them even faster. Terrible inbound freight allocation, dozens of the same item are sent on each and every truck that do not sell. Overpriced, ugly, and uncomfortable furniture that sits and fits for months on end. Corporate will tear you a new one for not getting enough customers to sign up for ad bloated emails and text marketing, while also pushing a credit card with terrible benefits from a scummy bank. Will be out of business before the end of the decade.
