This company is a cautionary tale of how private equity and uncontrolled growth and acquisition will ruin a PT company. - Physical Therapist Athletico Employee Review

Pros

They hire anyone because they have a gazillion clinics and need bodies.

Cons

They are a classic private equity owned PT clinic that force non-complete agreements on their therapists. They need to make them sign the non-competes because the work environment is so bad and expectations so high. The therapist become stuck and burnt out. These large PT companies are ruining the PT profession.

Thank you for the feedback. We want to address the mention of non-compete agreements, which are only required of management employees. These agreements are common across the industry and are intended to guard the company’s confidential and proprietary information, as well as protect our business interests. We do not require staff physical therapists to sign a non-compete agreement of any kind.

Pros

Great hands on experience compared to other clinics. Heard that at other clinics, aides just clean and 'make the clinician's life easier' but at this location if youre willing to learn and take initiative, you can assist patients through their exercises under supervision of the licensed therapist

Cons

The only thing is the pay, but it's an entry level job so makes sense why.
