Pros

Private aviation is a fun and rewarding environment in terms of knowledge for different career. No day is truly ever the same, so it never gets repetitive. If there's a break in aircraft arrival, services, etc. you are essentially getting paid to be on a break or do busy work. Plenty of different charter companies fly in, leaving you with loads of opportunities to make connections. 4 tens are in place, making it easy to do things outside of work with your 3 days off.

Cons

Corporate wants to run minimal staffing to make the most profit for their pockets. Annual reviews are pointless, and merit increases are utter garbage, as everyone receives the 3% annual, no matter if you are a good, hard working employee that goes above and beyond, or a trashcan. This gives no incentive for employees to wanna work harder, be on time, meet SOP requirements, and be better. Employees are expected to continue to meet a high workload in a demanding environment, with minimal staffing. They don't account for things outside of the scheduled arrivals (people taking sick time, MX needing a plane out of the back of the hangar, etc.) No incentives, no flight benefits, mediocre pay for SLC only after tow cert/ supervisor pay.

Pros

Health insurance benefits are solid and the company has an established corporate structure. Pay is consistent, but those are the only notable positives.

Cons

Local management is ineffective, unprofessional, and visibly disengaged. Direct leadership lacked initiative, accountability, and basic communication skills, often appearing indifferent unless corporate oversight was involved. Expectations were unclear and inconsistently enforced, creating a disorganized and frustrating work environment. There was a noticeable reliance on surveillance rather than leadership. After receiving a final warning, camera monitoring became excessive and felt targeted, as if management was more focused on finding reasons to terminate employees than actually supporting improvement. The overall culture is unsupportive and transactional. Employees are treated as expendable rather than valued, which contributes to low morale, lack of trust, and high turnover. Stronger leadership at the local level is clearly lacking.
