Pros

Went into this job thinking it would be a good work environment and would make a difference in women's lives. Gained good work experience and learned how to work with very difficult personalities. Also learned how capable I was to do things beyond my level of comfort.

Cons

People quit and get fired left and right, there is no company culture and relationships between employees are discouraged because of management insecurity. People are only hired into management positions because they are friends or family of the CEO. VERY poor management structure, product is a lie (does not do what it claims to, cannot detect cancer) and FDA constantly writes letters to company about non-compliance.

Pros

They offered me freelance work. I am only a freelancer, and am not familiar with everything they offer as benefits for onsite employees.

Cons

Be careful! I was asked to sign a CONTACT that included a confidentiality agreement. The last page of the contract had the terms of payment Atossa and I had agreed upon to be paid out to me for my completed job. I signed the contract and returned it, only to be told they would not pay me the agreed amount because the contract they sent was NOT signed by them, even though it was prepared and sent by them for me to sign and get paid! I have met two other former freelance employees, who have ended up in the same situation as me. MAKE SURE THEY SIGN THE LAST PAGE OF YOUR CONTRACT BEFORE YOU START ANY FREELANCE OR CONTRACT WORK! Otherwise, you will be left working for free! I sent back my contract along with my invoice, and was informed that because they had never signed the contract, they were in no means obligated to PAY ME for my work. This should be treated as criminal behaviour.
