Pros
Pros:
I've been with AtreNet for 3 years as a Project Manager and have watched it grow and evolve at a ridiculous pace.
No lie: It's hard, it's challenging and the pace is insane.
I've worked in the nuthouse of retail district support for 10 years (which includes the holidays and Black Friday). So believe me, I know "fast-paced and challenging."
However, the flipside is it's incredibly rewarding and I've learned more here than any other job I've had.
New deals are constant and non-stop. There are no lulls or gaps. You'll work a lot more than "normal," but that's not for everyone.
I've personally seen people run away screaming because they wanted a 9-5 job. This isn't it. We have clients in the US, EMEA and APAC, so we have to adjust sometimes based on the timezone.
Our processes are constantly improving and we've got some of the most cutting-edge tools and insanely smart people working here.
The site designs and engineering systems are crazy good, and they get better with each relaunch.
We serve some of the biggest companies in Silicon Valley (AtreNet's been around and profitable for 20+ years), which is oftentimes an amazing learning experience -- but as a result, there's no time to be soft and there's little room for failure.
So if you didn't get the inference here, expectations are suitably crazy high.
If you don't take criticism well and don't want to improve from it, look elsewhere -- they expect the best every day, which is hard sometimes.
Did I mention I'm one of the employees that works from home fully remote?? Big time plus.
Cons
Some weeks it can almost be too much, but I work alongside some of the most high-performing people I've ever met here, so it's worth it.
Crazy crunches happen, but this is normal for most companies with tight timelines and demanding clients.
The usual work/life balance stuff.
