Coming into the job there seemed to be promise, but this evaporated relatively quickly. There was no Benefits Department and HR seemed to work against you instead of working as a team. Our department was just starting out and the hours were crazy. Two of us handled 50 hotel properties. We made it through, eventually, after many days and hours, and sanity seemed within reach. Then, in meetings, HR says we are basically "Messengers" but criticism is thrown our way because we should be training the HRD's on all aspects, etc. Eventually upper management felt we were not really needed and, once again through word of mouth, we hear they are going to "Rock the Boat" and many of our responsibilities can easily be transitioned directly to another company. Basically, we're not needed....BUT we should sit around and wait for the axe to fall. No thanks.
On top of this they have a "Garnishment" position which they use to pile a ton of payroll, garnishment and HR duties on and then expect them to work without benefits or full time status. They are now on about their 5th person in two years because nobody in their right mind would work under these conditions. And, guess who trains these people....the "messengers". Combine all this with having to work with a person who will throw whoever they can under the bus for any reason they can make up in their mind.
Aside from some of the points above it's a perfect environment.
