Pros

I met some really nice people and you do learn very basic marketing techniques.

Cons

Don't be fooled in the interview. You will legitimately stand inside a sams club and sell mediocre products for 7-8 hours a day. I had people talk down to me on the daily because what we were trained to do was borderline aggressive, and if you are human and become annoyed or frustrated with this, you are accused of "losing your attitude" or talked to about the "opportunity." Every day after your shift, you have to call your leader and talk about how much you sold and If you didn't sell 800 dollars worth of product, something was wrong with you or your mentality. I found myself working 10 hours a day and barely getting paid. I could barely make rent and when I talked to my manager about this, she grilled me on what I was spending money on which is very inappropriate. The team that runs this office is very immature and clique ish. If anyone quits, the person is immediately looked down upon and talked about, I saw it happen. I was very disturbed and put off by the fact that it looked unprofessional if I wanted to go to church or do anything family related. If you choose to believe that this job is worth it in order to "own your own business", which isn't true because you're still working under smart circle regardless, and you can make 200,000 dollars in a year doing this, then give it a shot. I wish I had seen reviews like this before I started. All the positive reviews on this company are written by the managers and employees just to off set the reviews that show the truth.

Pros

I really did love working here. It is an awesome opportunity! Within 9-12 months you can be running your own marketing company. It is a management training program that teaches you from the ground event level all the way up to executive management level. Not only did I learn skill sets that pertained to marketing. I also learned all kinds of skills for business in general. Its also a very positive environment. Everyone who works there always comes in a very good mood and willing to do whatever it takes to get you to reach your both professional and personal goals. I not only consider the people I worked with as former co-workers I consider them personal friends. I also got to travel to Phoenix for 2 weeks to learn from the one of the best of the best in the business. (that trip was completely paid for by the owner Kati). The owner and everyone invest a lot of time and money their employees. And it shows. I personally had to leave because realized that my personal and professional goals could not simultaneously be reached while going through this program. But I highly recommend the program for anyone who can put in the time and work.

Cons

I wouldn't say this is a really a con but it is a lot of time and work. They cram 5 years of management training into 9 months. So if someone does not have a strong drive or good work ethic it might not be the right opportunity for them.
