Pros
Most of my coworkers are amazing. I have seen so many teachers and other employees just go way above and beyond to help our students everyday. There are a lot of people that work at AISD that genuinely care about the students.
Cons
Even before our epic staff shortages, AISD likes to continue to add more and more work onto employees with no increase in pay for extra duties. It's basically just expected of you to pick up any slack as needed and they like to call them "other duties as assigned". The upper management has completely changed in every department and they are constantly adding new things to add to your job to make it more difficult, Communication is almost non-existent. Very difficult place to currently work. It's very sad. The moral is horrible. Also the health insurance is too expensive.
