Pros

Not man7 zy pros to be completely honest. The workers are the best thing about this company. Multicultural background of staff. Central location.

Cons

They speak of culture when there is nothing but bullying, micromanagement and distrust. I was hired for a specific role and 6 months into my employment I still was not doing the role I was hired for at which point I went to hand in a resignation which was not accepted by the manager. I struggled through another 6 months before I had a mental breakdown on the way to work and could not deal anymore. At the beginning I was afraid to ask for assistance as I had my head bitten off several times and told that the manager is "too busy" to answer my questions. Very odd since the industry is highly regulated and cannot afford mistakes. My role involved training and support of new staff - very high turnover of staff. When discussing my concerns with HR about my role and rigid, bullying management styles, I felt it landed on deaf ears since the managers have been with the company for 20+ years and nothing would be done. Save yourself the trouble, study and get a qualification if you want to work in superannuation and don't work for an administrator.

Pros

The are fairly family friendly culture, and most people you will met are easy to get along with. You can drive you car to work if that suits you. If you are coming from a call-centre background you will be highly regarded to transition into other areas if that is your aim.

Cons

Review process is not very clear and is more about being quick to find negatives than encouraging the positive. Some people and managers are not very receptive to new ideas, or trying new ways of doing things and may discount any pervious experience you have with other companies.
