Pros
We are building solutions that actually real people. And can directly impact their lives. It feels great to be part of that! The head of culture is doing an excellent job at finding ways to make us feel part of the team even while remote. We are working with modern technology stacks and leadership has a strong desire to be on the leading edge of innovation in the space. Very much a startup feel, have been in many zoom calls where the CEO is participating and engaged. It's a great chance to make big impacts! There is typically a lot of cross team collaboration and as a whole the company is very inviting. I would not feel uncomfortable scheduling a 1 on 1 with any executive. They are all very approachable and most importantly, they listen.
Cons
With any startup/scale-up there are growing pains. And sometimes there can be disagreements on approach and vision. Sometimes there can be issues with a tribal atmosphere with "alignments" if people recruiting colleagues from previous companies causing disagreements. This is a current con but is actively being acknowledged and worked on. Too much sales driven development. This can easily lead to systems built for specific customer use cases rather than a great foundational product.
