Pros
AS a Supervisor, the Directors encouraged me to grow, and helped me obtain my BCBA degree and Supervision hours that I needed. I passed the exam because of the collaborative nature of their Supervision, practical advice, and study/review sessions. Supervisors are encouraged (and they pay for us) to attend Continuing Education conferences like CalABA. It is a fun, hard-working, collaborative group, and the Directors are great, very knowledgeable and supportive.
Cons
Burnout from working with difficult families, and at times, therapist turnover (which is often beyond anyone's control). But the training modules and protocol are GREAT so we always replace staff with high-quality new people, and just need to overlap and train them on each of our cases.
