Worst place I ve worked in years - Care Assistant Autonomy Care Group Employee Review

The kids are amazing and the job itself was the best I ve had in care! The pay was good and lots of training opportunities

No regard whatsoever for staff welfare! No communication between teams or management and staff. Terrible atmosphere when certain staff members were on. If your face fits it’s amazing, if it doesn’t- you get accused of things you haven’t even done, spoken to like dirt. Shifts taken away last minute with no warning. Offered promotion chances and then this taken away. Bullied and belittled by management and other staff also especially regarding sexuality! There is also a racism. It’s such a shame as the kids were smashing but the staff made things like literally hell to work there. And no one listens when you bring it up either they bully people to the point of having anxiety and mental health issues it’s a horrible atmosphere!

It's the first time in years that I can say I look forward to going to work. It can be challenging at times but the team are incredibly supportive. Personal development is encouraged and supported. I highly recommend this company!
