Pros
Very few. As a former employee (who has gone on to far better things), looking back it is hard to see the positive aspects of this wantonly uncaring company. A few good souls work there, not naming names, however, most have left now anyway so I hear. In all honesty, the best I can say is that employees had free parking, free coffee and a free pool table. And given the length of time I worked there, that's pretty sad.
Cons
Where do I begin. Is it with the inept and abrasive management or the general lack of communication and cohesiveness within their structure and policy. Perhaps I should regale you with tales of gross misconduct that went unheeded due to someone being slightly higher up the food chain than someone else. Talking on your phone, taking personal calls at work? No problem, as long as you sit at a desk on the end of a spine. Speaking of spines, more or less every manager (I can think of 2 named exceptions) seemed to have to undergo a compulsory medical procedure upon starting with the company that involved the removal of said body part. In short, I cannot think of a more impersonal, uncaring gabble of completely inadequate and supercilious people. It is a blessing and relief to be gone from a company where my everyday life feels like an in the flesh tour of Dante's Inferno. If you want a thankless job and to be supervised by people who go out of their way to make you feel inferior to them (not that this is possible when we are talking about people who are somewhere between a cockroach and the white stuff that accumulates at the corner of your mouth when you're really thirsty) then by all means, apply today. There will be a vacancy as the turnover is high.
