I worked for AvAirPros as part of the executive administration team for a consortium in Detroit. We were a small group of 8 that were responsible for the oversight of the various contracts that supported the airlines from maintenance, janitorial, passenger services and so on. We were a tight group that took our responsibility to the airlines very seriously. The group fostered creativity, transparency and growth.
Cons
There was often not enough to do within the position I held which eventually led to my departure. Forward movement within the company is slow and not likely. Very little support from corporate. Poor benefits package that is very costly, especially for families. Executive director was misguided at times. Always worried about loosing the contract which led to him being unethical in decisions from time to time. I am sure this has changed.
