Recruiter was clueless during the interview process. HR was non-existent during the on-boarding process. Training focused solely on customer service skills and completely neglected the absurd amount of programs and day-to-day metrics that need to be constantly managed. Training classes felt like being in a kindergarten class. Free-for-all mentality with daily work led to mass confusion and terrible performance and management from veteran employees. No one knows what they're doing.Everyone from the top down. The blind leading the blind. Avalonbay is one big contradiction implementing AI whilst veteran employees are still posting paper to apartment doors like they're Martin Luther posting his 95 thesis. Everytime you think you have a grasp on something, they pull the rug out from under you and implement something totally new. The corporate team things they are the Vatican descending upon the masses everyone they show up on-site expecting everyone to bow down to their glory. The company is transparent, but presented like rocket science. You have to be Isaac Newton to understand the bonus plan. Everything is so convuluted at this company that you just have to bite your teeth and take whatever comes your way.
