At Avanti, you get to work on developing an innovative mobile commerce product which uses cutting edge technologies and platforms. After going through a smooth and successful transition last year, where the company’s outlook changed from providing professional services, to developing a platform-as-a-service product, Avanti has many new exciting opportunities coming its way. There are opportunities to work on a wide variety of tasks at times. The team is always encouraged to maintain high engineering standards and best practices. The people are hard-working and friendly and the company culture is very positive and collaborative. Avanti still has a fun and exciting start-up like atmosphere. The office is well located in Downtown Vancouver. Cool company events are regularly organized.

Working on maintaining a complex platform-as-a-service e-commerce product, while also selling it, is challenging. Work can be very fast paced at times.

With a perfect blend of people, processes and technology, working for Avanti Commerce has solidified my belief on how important it is to have flexibility in your work/personal lifestyle while maintaining high standards of work ethic. Despite Avanti being a start-up company, the culture and values within the company are well defined and aligned with management’s vision. Having autonomy is vital for learning and improving one-self and working for Avanti has already shown to demonstrate an enormous growth in individual behavior, performance and attitude. At the same time cohesive team behavior aids to efficiently solve problems, set goals and work hard to achieve them. Avanti also frequently holds team building activities to encourage communication within and across different departments.
