Cons
A lot wrong at Aware as it’s a facade and the real culture is a “yes” toxic culture where if you say ‘yes’ you get valued, promoted and recognition. The core values they breathe are never followed i.e. lead bravely, care deeply. The people team care only for the organisation and are extremely rigid and unsupportive. The mid to senior-level managers, all buttering up their heads of, execs and constantly managing up. No regard for mental health and no regard for hardwork. Poor performance & mediocrity is rewarded where as loyal hardworking people cast away. They keep hiring from Link and the culture is toxic with back and side stabbing rampant. A lot of poor people leaders and promotions only occur within the leadership circuit which is already poor with a bunch of undeserving individuals. Aware also pays below market rate and there is no transparent with REMs and ranges. The recent employee surveys depict that no one feels appreciated, there is no growth opportunities and most will leave within 2 years. They use the word agile and nimble to promote a ‘yes’ culture but fail to see why someone might say no and such the belonging to Aware culture has been wiped clean. Those lazy, poor performers have learnt that all they need to do is pretend, suck up and they profit.
