Pros
The work the organization sets our to do is important and could have a large positive impact in the community. The Vision is strong and draws intelligent and passionate people.
Cons
This is a classic bureaucratic, top-down, authoritative workplace. The organization prides itself on being a "culture of innovation" but uses this as an excuse for quickly changing course without involving the people doing the work in the process of designing and implementing the changes. Middle managers are treated as messengers forced to deliver directives that do not align with the capacity of their teams, nor with their own beliefs or understanding of the work needing to be done.
