Pros
Ability to make a lot of money if you are on the dispatcher's (daughter of the owner) good side. They might offer benefits but only after you ask them. High commission / no salary.
Cons
12 days on 2 days off. No paid vacation time. If you take a vacation, they expect you to work additional weekends to make up for the days you were gone (or sick). No balance between work and personal life. They expect your job to come before your personal life because and I quote "this is the profession you chose, boys." High turn over. Family operated business ran out of a garage type building. All managers are family members and run the company like correctional officers. They threaten the techs on a daily bases with back charging their pay and then they do. Daily meetings first thing in the mornings that usually result in a "b**** session" with even more threats. The company has a good business model but lacks professional management experience to move it to the next level. Their incredible lack of respect for their employees results in high turn over and the employment of less experience and less qualified techs and installers.
