Pros

They have decent pay, not great, not bad, just decent. The health benefits are good. (Dental, not so much.) The food in the on-site cafeteria is actually pretty good. Not cheap, but tasty and you get a reasonable quantity for what you pay. The people there are friendly, good to work with, and commiserate well with each other.

Cons

Forget work life balance. If you are hourly you will work overtime every week. If you are salary and go home at your scheduled time you will be ridiculed and held to an unobtainable standard. You will come in early and leave late - every day. It's just fact. Deal with it. The Sr. Management will always say (publicly) "give us a reasonable estimate as to when the project will be complete." You will then give them you estimate, and they will ALWAYS say, "that's too long. You'll need to have it complete by (insert ludicrisly short time frame here). Then when you don't hit their unreasonable expectation you are blamed, ridiculed, and your ancestry will be called into question. They talk a lot about accountability - it's a lie. They only worry about accountability when you are to BLAME, and they can save their own hide. Expect flavor of the week management philosophies. 6S, Toyota Management, Six Sigma, Oz, we've been through all of them and none have stuck. Just go along with the flow until the agony ends and people forget about it. The underlying management style will ALWAYS be - doing a good job around here is like wetting your pants in a dark suit. Gives you a nice warm feeling, but no one notices. And if you screw up, or even if you are accused of making a mistake, regardless of whether you did or not, you will be publicly humiliated.

Pros

Great company, pay, and work life balance. A great way to transition out of bedside nursing.

Cons

Travel all over the US two weeks out of the month as a part time employee so you have to know that going in.

Pros

Not really much to say other then that if you like working 12 hours a day just for only 3 days in one week and then 4 days the next week, you're not really making enough to cover income.

Cons

Not guaranteed overtime. You could sign up for it and the odds of getting it is very limited. Not guaranteed to get hired on and they could end assignments anytime. You don't make that great of a pay and even if you do get hired on, your options are very limited when it comes to be certified in different areas and you don't have a choice to where you want to be, you end up being in a position that you don't like due to poor management.
