Pros
Please be mindful when researching this job that majority of the reviews are posted after an HR manager personally asks the employee via email to leave a review. It would be unlikely for them to share negative comments when it will obviously be associated with them. With that being said, the job is as simple as it gets. It’s tedious but far from difficult. Almost anyone could get it done. The people are the greatest selling point and honestly is why most probably get comfortable with the job. If you just want to come to a job, do busy work and attend a bunch of meetings about anticipated progress or changes to come, then yeah. It’s not too bad of job.
Cons
There is barely any room to grow. The amount of work you’re drowned in stunts any creativity or ability to build on anything. They overload all their workers and expect a salary and decent benefits plan to be “enough” when the pay isn’t comparable to similar companies or their competitors. They are still a manual company trying to make it in a digital world. Expect to work more than 8 hours daily because of this. If you can’t fully commit to over 40 hours weekly, don’t expect to be considered a “valued employee”. Also, don’t expect to actually use any of your unlimited PTO without consequences. Be careful to not mistake their kindness as sincerity and remember the suggestions are actually unwritten requirements. This is company that will let you go with a smile and pretend it was a shock or something out of their control. Don’t believe them when they advise that anyone who was let go is aware of it coming or the false promise that there will be no sudden release from the company. The proof is in all the reviews that were not directly requested from HR. Please take your time and look into this company before signing up for the heartache and headache. To avoid a high turnover rate and seeming like a bad company to work for, they use layoffs and severance agreements. It’s a company that is great at getting people to buy-in, and that includes its employees. Don’t take everything they say at face value.
