Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. I’m happy to hear you enjoyed the people and our culture - it’s something very important to us! I’m sorry if you felt that taking time off was difficult. , Work-life balance is essential for all of us. As is the case with many early startups, career growth and communication are often not completely ironed out. This is definitely an area of focus for us and we’ve made strides in establishing career ladders for many positions. As part of our company values we default to open and prioritize transparency, and this feedback reinforces how important that is for a good employee experience. If you’re comfortable sharing more details with me directly, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Nick Passavanti, Head of Recruiting (nickpassavanti@b12.io)

Pros

If you are just starting out, i would highly recommend working here. Its a great place to develop your skills, work on a range of clients, and build your resume/portfolio. Good starting point to transition into a full-time agency/in-house role. Great people too!

Cons

SEO stuff i learned was super dated and it’s a content mill. Work can be inconsistent, but thats what you should expect as a contractor to some extent.
