Pros
Overwhelmingly, most of the employees are professional, courteous and competent. I wouldn't hesitate to encourage anyone to apply for a human resources or finance/accounting job.
Cons
Unfortunately, the proposal team, where I worked, is the one bad apple. Although my immediate supervisor was great, we were severely short-staffed. After a few months at the company, my workload multiplied by a staggering amount, mostly because of one member of upper management. My direct supervisor helped me as much as he could, but he was also overwhelmed. I compared what I was being asked to do with my job description, and confirmed my suspicions that I was being asked to do far more than I agreed to when I took the job. There was also no training corresponding to my increasingly having the director's workload shifted to me. Pay was also about as low as they could offer. When I didn't get my vastly increased responsibilities perfect the first attempt, despite having no training, I was unceremoniously told my position had been eliminated. So again, nothing but respect for most of the employees, but I can't in good conscience recommend the proposal team as a good job.
