Pros
I have worked for a few agencies and on the client side too.
BCM is the best place I've ever worked. The people are fantastic. Passionate, hard working. Not only are they good at their jobs but they're genuinely good people.
The other thing I like is that they understand about the rate of change in the business and they make sure everyone is up to speed with it- they've even built this very cool sharing platform just for staff to use. So if staff come across something of interest it's simple for them to share right across the agency.
From a perks perspective there's loads to like too. They have free gym membership and group training. Loads of educational opportunities and they even reward staff by sending them to SXSW in the US. Plus they put on great social events for people to unwind.
Clients stick around for ages, which is good for job security. And clients notice the people factor... One said to me, how do you guys have such great people every time? It was nice that they noticed.
I only left because my Partner was relocating.
If you can snag a job here jump at it. I promise you, you'll love it.
Cons
It's kind of already been said on here, and it's true, the agency runs at a cracking pace. So you gotta be up for that, if not, I would say steer clear.
